2019 Applications will open 1 July 2019
Since 2016, the Geeveston Progress Association has been collecting donations from RV campers in Heritage Park. This money has been held in trust for the community waiting for an emerging local cause or project.
Earlier in 2018, the GPA decided on a more formalised way to distribute this money throughout the community by offering local grants.
Geeveston organisations can apply for up to $1000 for any projects or initiatives that have benefit to the Geeveston community. There is $5000 in the funding pool.
Applications for these annual grants open on 1st July and close on 31 August. Successful applicants will be notified in September with funds being disbursed shortly after.
Who is eligible to apply?
All community groups and organisations within the greater Geeveston area (being from Castle Forbes Bay to Surges Bay) are invited to apply.
When do these grants open and close?
The Geeveston Community Grants open on 1 July each year and need to be submitted by 31 August each year.
If our group is successful, when will funds be available?
Successful applicants will be notified in September, with funds paid shortly after into your group's bank account.
